In 522b021 we dropped 'PROVIDE(_GLOBAL_OFFSET_TABLE_ = . + 4)' lines in the mpc85xx linker scripts as this is not required and breaks newer binutils. This commit cleans up the rest of the powerpc linker scripts. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini

By making the board selections optional, every defconfig will include the board selection when running savedefconfig so if a new board is added to the top of the list of choices the former top's defconfig will still be correct. Update the naming convention used in the network stack functions and variables that Ethernet drivers use to interact with it. This cleans up the temporary hacks that were added to this interface along with the DM support. This patch has a few remaining checkpatch.pl failures that would be out of the scope of this patch to fix (drivers that are in gross violation of checkpatch.pl).
