The "hostfs ls" command prefixes each directory entry with either DIR, LNK or " " if it is a directory, symlink resp. regular file, or "???" for any other or unknown type. At present some spl_xxx_load_image() functions take a parameter and some don't. Of those that do, most take an integer but one takes a string.
