compatible = "fsl,imx6ul-lcdif", "fsl,imx28-lcdif";

to

compatible = "fsl,imx6ul-lcdif", "fsl,imx6sx-lcdif";

without updating the mxsfb driver to match that change.

Add "fsl,imx6sx-lcdif" as a compatible id to fix that.
