When editing eficonfig "optional data" (typically cmdline arguments)
it's useful to be able to edit the string rather than having to re-type
the entire thing. Implement support for editing buffers to make this a
whole lot nicer. Specifically, add support for moving the cursor with
the arrow keys and End key as well as deleting backwards with the delete
key.

These functions are useful for the EFI app. As a first step towards
making these available outside lib/efi_loader, create a separate header
file and include it where needed. Add proper comments to the functions,
since many are missing at present.

We don't want ANSI escape-sequences written in tests since it is a pain
to check the output with ut_assert_nextline() et al.

Provide a way to tests to request that these characters not be sent.

Add a proper function comment while we are here, to encourage others.

At present EFI output to the console uses fputs() which bypasses the
console-recording feature. This makes it impossible for tests to check
the output of an EFI app.

There doesn't seem to be any need to do this bypass, so adjust it to
simply use the puts() function.

We largely do not need <common.h> in these files, so drop it. The only
