2021-07-06dm: define LOG_CATEGORY for all uclassPatrick Delaunay
Define LOG_CATEGORY for all uclass to allow filtering with log command. Signed-off-by: Patrick Delaunay <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2021-05-13w1: replace dt detection by automatic detectionKory Maincent
This patch changes the functioning of the detection of w1 devices. The old way was a comparison between detected w1 and the ones described in the device tree. Now it will just look for the driver matching the family id of the w1 detected. The patch is inspired from Maxime Ripard code. 2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename 'platdata' variables to just 'plat'Simon Glass
We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data. We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private or platform data). Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2020-05-18common: Drop log.h from common headerSimon Glass
Move this header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2020-02-05dm: core: Create a new header file for 'compat' featuresSimon Glass
At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers. One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox which needs to use the system malloc() in some files. Move the compatibility features into a separate header file. 2018-11-01w1-eeprom: ds24xxx: fix data abort in ds24xxx_probe()Martin Fuzzey
Data abort was occurring when using "w1 bus" with a DS24B33 present. The abort occurred in the ds24xxx_probe() because the struct w1_device pointer was NULL. This is because that structure is allocated by the parent device uclass (by .per_child_platdata_auto_alloc_size) and thus the correct accessor is dev_get_parent_platdata() not dev_get_platdata() Signed-off-by: Martin Fuzzey <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Eugen Hristev <[email protected]>
