The ROCK 2A has three USB 2.0 Type-A HOST ports behind an onboard USB hub, and one USB 3.0 Type-A port. The Radxa E20C has one USB2.0 Type-A HOST port and one USB2.0 Type-C port. The Type-C port is conneced to a FE1.1s_QFN USB hub on the board, with its ports being connected to the XHCI usb controller and an usb-uart bridge. This also means, the XHCI controller can only be used in device-mode. Add support for using the USB 2.0 ports on Radxa E20C. 2026-04-13arm: Add ARMv8-M aarch32 supportMarek Vasut
Add configuration for ARMv8-M aarch32 core, which are currently Cortex-M23/M33 cores. These cores are treated similar to ARMv7-M cores, except the code has to be compiled with matching compiler -march=armv8-m.main flag . These cores have no MMU, they have MPU, which is currently not configured. Unlike ARMv7-M, these cores have 512 interrupt vectors. While the SYS_ARM_ARCH should be set to 8, it is set to 7 because all of the initialization code is built from arch/arm/cpu/armv7m and not armv8. Furthermore, CONFIG_ARM64 must be disabled, although DTs for devices using these cores do come from arch/arm64/boot/dts. To avoid excess duplication in Makefiles, introduce one new Kconfig symbol, CPU_V7M_V8M. The CPU_V7M_V8M cover both ARMv7-M and ARMv8-M cores. This is an attempt to sync up Makefiles to 6.1. Unfortunately due to sheer amount of patches this is not easy to review, but that's what we decided during a community call for the bump to 5.1, so we are following the same guidelines here. 2025-11-10dm: Remove pre-schema tag supportTom Rini
Support for using "u-boot,dm-..." rather than "bootph-..." has been deprecated since February 2023. Any platforms using this have had a console message saying to migrate by 2023.07. Go and remove all support here now, for the v2026.01 release. The results of this change that aren't clear from the above are that we still have a checkpatch.pl error message, and document in doc/develop/spl.rst that they have been migrated since 2023. The k3-am62x-sk-common dtsi represents the common hardware used across am62x EVMs which can be configured with various DDR sizes or none (with DDR integrated in the package) based on the specific am62x SoC used. Therefore this patch moves the memory node and the SoC specific k3-am625 dtsi out of sk-common and into the board dts files. No functional change is intended from this patch. The bootloader for RK3588 Tiger currently forces the PMIC reset behavior (stored in RST_FUN bitfield in register SYS_CFG3 of the PMIC) to 0b1X which is incorrect for our devices. It is required to restart the PMU as otherwise the companion microcontroller cannot detect the PMIC (and by extension the full product and main SoC) being rebooted which is an issue as that is used to reset a few things like the PWM beeper and watchdogs. Let's add the new rockchip,reset-mode property to make sure the PMIC reset behavior is the expected one. 2025-08-30dt-bindings: mfd: rk806: Allow to customize PMIC reset modeQuentin Schulz
The RK806 PMIC allows to configure its reset/restart behavior whenever the PMIC is reset either programmatically or via some external pins (e.g. PWRCTRL or RESETB). The following modes exist: - 0; restart PMU, - 1; reset all power off reset registers and force state to switch to ACTIVE mode, - 2; same as mode 1 and also pull RESETB pin down for 5ms, For example, some hardware may require a full restart (mode 0) in order to function properly as regulators are shortly interrupted in this mode. This is the case for RK3588 Jaguar and RK3588 Tiger which have a companion microcontroller running on an independent power supply and monitoring the PMIC power rail to know the state of the main system. When it detects a restart, it resets its own IPs exposed to the main system as if to simulate its own reset. Failing to perform this fake reset of the microcontroller may break things (e.g. watchdog not automatically disabled, buzzer still running until manually disabled, leftover configuration from previous main system state, etc...). Some other systems may be depending on the power rails to not be interrupted even for a small amount of time[1]. This allows to specify how the PMIC should perform on the hardware level and may differ between hardware designs, so a DT property seems warranted. I unfortunately do not see how this could be made generic enough to make it a non-vendor property.
