2026-06-17lib: sbi: Add variable-length unprivilege access functionsBo Gan
sbi_load/store_loop read/write variable-length buffer unprivileged. Both function use the widest aligned 8/4/2/1 byte load/stores in each loop to reduce the total number of iterations. Also switch the scalar/vector misaligned handlers to make use of such functions to simplify code. Miscellaneous: remove the unnecessary [taddr] in inline assembly Signed-off-by: Bo Gan <[email protected]> Tested-by: Anirudh Srinivasan <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Anup Patel <[email protected]> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/[email protected] Signed-off-by: Anup Patel <[email protected]>
2020-03-28lib: Remove scratch parameter from unpriv load/store functionsAnup Patel
The scratch parameter of unpriv load/store functions is now redundant hence we remove it. Signed-off-by: Anup Patel <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Atish Patra <[email protected]>
2019-11-21lib: Better naming of unpriv APIs for wider useAnup Patel
The unpriv APIs can be useful to external firmware and out-of-tree platform support code. This patch adds "sbi_" prefix to unpriv load/store APIs and rename struct riscv_unpriv to struct sbi_trap_info everywhere. We also place struct sbi_trap_info in sbi/sbi_trap.h so that we can use it for sbi_trap_redirect() as well. Overall, this patch will make naming of unpriv APIs consistent with other OpenSBI APIs. 2019-04-01include: Rename sbi_unpriv.h to riscv_unpriv.hAnup Patel
The sbi_unpriv.h has quite a few load_xyz() and store_xyz() helper routines based on RISC-V inline assembly for unpriviledged accesses from M-mode. These helper routines are similar to helper routines present in riscv_locks.h, riscv_io.h, and riscv_atomic.h so let's rename sbi_unpriv.h to riscv_unpriv.h. This patch removes unused mepc arg from load_xyz() and store_xyz() unpriviledge access functions. Signed-off-by: Anup Patel <[email protected]>
2019-02-14lib: Use CSR_<FOO> instead of <foo> for csr_*()Atish Patra
Some older toolchains may not have all the csr's defined. Update all the csr functions to use the CSR_ #define values instead of the toolchain defined values. Suggested-by: Olof Johansson <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Atish Patra <[email protected]>
