2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2017-06-05mips: Make u-boot-mips.h a private headerSimon Glass
Rather than including this arch-specific header file in common.h, include it from within mips's u-boot.h header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Daniel Schwierzeck <[email protected]>
2016-05-27mips: Drop unused code in u-boot.hSimon Glass
Since generic board init is enabled, this is not used. Drop it. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Acked-by: Daniel Schwierzeck <[email protected]>
2014-05-12bd_info: remove bi_barudrate member from struct bd_infoMasahiro Yamada
gd->bd->bi_baudrate is a copy of gd->baudrate. Since baudrate is a common feature for all architectures, keep gd->baudrate only. It is true that bi_baudrate was passed to the kernel in that structure but it was a long time ago. 2014-04-20MIPS: allow use of generic boardPaul Burton
This patch allows MIPS boards to make use of generic board, replacing arch/mips/lib/board.c with common/board_{f,r}.c and struct bd_info with the asm-generic version. Signed-off-by: Paul Burton <[email protected]>

2012-10-19mips: Change global data baudrate to intSimon Glass
This doesn't need to be a long, so change it. Also adjust bi_baudrate to be unsigned. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2012-05-15net: punt bd->bi_ip_addrMike Frysinger
This field gets read in one place (by "bdinfo"), and we can replace that with getenv("ipaddr"). After all, the bi_ip_addr field is kept up-to-date implicitly with the value of the ipaddr env var. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Joe Hershberger <[email protected]>
2011-10-05image: push default arch values to arch headersMike Frysinger
This pushes the ugly duplicated arch ifdef lists we maintain in various image related files out to the arch headers themselves. Acked-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <[email protected]> Tested-by: Thomas Chou <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <[email protected]>

2010-04-13Move architecture-specific includes to arch/$ARCH/include/asmPeter Tyser
This helps to clean up the include/ directory so that it only contains non-architecture-specific headers and also matches Linux's directory layout which many U-Boot developers are already familiar with. Signed-off-by: Peter Tyser <[email protected]>
