As reported by Jonas Karlman this series breaks booting on some AArch64
platforms with common use cases. For now the best path forward is to
revert the series.
This reverts commit 777c28460947371ada40868dc994dfe8537d7115, reversing
changes made to ab3453e7b12daef47b9e91da2a2a3d48615dc6fc.

This adds a separate CONFIG_CC_OPTIMIZE_FOR_SPEED option in a choice,
in preparation for adding another optimization option. Also convert SH's
makefile to use this new option.

This CPU core is old, no boards using the CPU are left in mainline,
it has no prospects of ever being converted to DM, drop it.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

It is easy to note that SH2/SH3/SH4 start.S code is practically
the same with a minor difference for SH2 where a short data header is
present. To avoid unwanted code duplication and to automatically
convert SH2 and SH3 platforms to generic board support move fixed SH4
start.S into arch/sh/lib/start.S and share it among all platforms.

Generic board support assumes a different method of specifying
DRAM size on board, also it can be shared among all boards, notably
only sh7763rdp board has a custom legacy dram_init(), however
the difference is only in printing some additional information,
this feature can be removed.

SuperH is supposed to support the Private Library feature, but it is
actually not working.
If CONFIG_USE_PRIVATE_LIBGCC is enabled, the build fails for the
undefined references to '__sdivsi3_i4i' and '__udivsi3_i4i'.
To fix this error, import missing libraries from Linux 3.19
and adjust them for U-Boot:
- Remove "#include <linux/module.h>" and "EXPORT_SYMBOL(...)"
- Use SPDX-License-Identifier
- Remove white space

This commit moves CONFIG_SH2, CONFIG_SH2A, CONFIG_SH3, CONFIG_SH4
to Kconfig renaming into CONFIG_CPU_SH2, CONFIG_CPU_SH2A,
CONFIG_CPU_SH3, CONFIG_CPU_SH4, respectively because
arch/sh/Kconfig of Linux uses CONFIG_CPU_SH* convention.

Before this commit, USE_PRIVATE_LIBGCC was defined in
arch-specific config.mk and referenced in
arch/$(ARCH)/lib/Makefile.
We are not happy about parsing config.mk again and again.
We have to keep the same behavior with a different way.
By adding "CONFIG_" prefix, this macro appears
in include/autoconf.mk, include/spl-autoconf.mk.
(And treating USE_PRIVATE_LIBGCC as CONFIG macro
is reasonable enough.)
Tegra SoC family defined USE_PRIVATE_LIBGCC as "yes"
in arch/arm/cpu/arm720t/tegra*/config.mk,
whereas did not define it in arch/arm/cpu/armv7/tegra*/config.mk.
It means Tegra enables PRIVATE_LIBGCC only for SPL.
We can describe the same behavior by adding
#ifdef CONFIG_SPL_BUILD
# define CONFIG_USE_PRIVATE_LIBGCC
#endif
to include/configs/tegra-common.h.

The ashrsi3 function is used by some commands that aren't in SH2A
default configs (e.g. JFFS2).
The ashrsi3.S file has been copied from Linux.

SH2A toolchains often only provide an fdpic version of libgcc. This
can't be used with bare-metal software like U-Boot, so this patch
provides the necessary functions extracted from libgcc.

Curent U-Boot can boot zImage by use the "go" command.
But this is not right method. And this method can not set command-line
to linux kernel.
zimageboot sets command-line in environment of u-boot in linux kernel,
and provides function to boot it.

Before this commit, weak symbols were not overridden by non-weak symbols
found in archive libraries when linking with recent versions of
binutils. As stated in the System V ABI, "the link editor does not
extract archive members to resolve undefined weak symbols".
This commit changes all Makefiles to use partial linking (ld -r) instead
of creating library archives, which forces all symbols to participate in
linking, allowing non-weak symbols to override weak symbols as intended.
This approach is also used by Linux, from which the gmake function
cmd_link_o_target (defined in config.mk and used in all Makefiles) is
inspired.
The name of each former library archive is preserved except for
extensions which change from ".a" to ".o". This commit updates
references accordingly where needed, in particular in some linker
scripts.
This commit reveals board configurations that exclude some features but
include source files that depend these disabled features in the build,
resulting in undefined symbols. Known such cases include:
- disabling CMD_NET but not CMD_NFS;
- enabling CONFIG_OF_LIBFDT but not CONFIG_QE.
