2020-09-25x86: fsp: Update the FSP API with the end-firmware methodSimon Glass
This new method is intended to be called when UEFI shuts down the 'boot services', i.e. any lingering code in the boot loader that might be used by the OS. Add a definition for this new method and update the comments a little. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]>

Move this uncommon header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2019-12-15x86: fsp: Make the notify API call commonSimon Glass
The fsp_notify() API is the same for FSP1 and FSP2. Move it into a new common API file. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]>
2019-10-08x86: Rename existing FSP code to fsp1Simon Glass
Since there is now a new version of the FSP and it is incompatible with the existing version, move the code into an fsp1 directory. This will allow us to put FSP v2 code into an fsp2 directory. Add a Kconfig which defines which version is in use. Some of the code in this new fsp1/ directory is generic across both FSPv1 and FSPv2. Future patches will address this. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2017-09-16x86: fsp: Update struct common_buf for FSP spec 1.1Bin Meng
FSP spec 1.1 adds one more member to the struct common_buf to determine the memory size that can be reserved by FSP below "top of low usable memory" for bootloader usage. This new member uses the reserved space so that it is still compatible with previous FSP spec 1.0. A new HOB (FSP_HOB_RESOURCE_OWNER_BOOTLOADER_TOLUM_GUID) is also published when common_buf.tolum_size is valid and non zero. 2016-01-13x86: fsp: Rename shared_data to fsp_config_dataBin Meng
FSP has several config data like UPD, HDA verb table which can be overridden or provided by bootloader. Currently in U-Boot only UPD is handled via struct shared_data. To accommodate any platform, we rename shared_data to fsp_config_data and move the definition from common place fsp_support.h to platform-specific place fsp_configs.h. 2016-01-13x86: fsp: Avoid cast stack_top in struct shared_dataBin Meng
Declare stack_top as u32 in struct shared_data and struct common_buf so that we can avoid casting in fsp_init(). Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]> Acked-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Tested-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2015-02-05x86: Adjust the FSP types slightlySimon Glass
To avoid casts, find_fsp_header() should return a pointer. Add asmlinkage to two API functions which use that convention. UPD_TERMINATOR is common so move it into a common file.
