2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2024-05-06x86: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from all x86 architecture files and when needed add missing include files directly. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2023-08-31x86: Convert arch_fsp_init() to use eventsSimon Glass
Convert this to use events instead of calling a function directly in the init sequence. Rename it to arch_fsp_init_f() to distinguish it from the one that happens after relocation. For FSPv2 nothing needs to be done here, so drop the empty function. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2023-08-15common: return type board_get_usable_ram_topHeinrich Schuchardt
board_get_usable_ram_top() returns a physical address that is stored in gd->ram_top. The return type of the function should be phys_addr_t like the current type of gd->ram_top. Signed-off-by: Heinrich Schuchardt <[email protected]>
2022-09-23board_f: Fix types for board_get_usable_ram_top()Pali Rohár
Commit 37dc958947ed ("global_data.h: Change ram_top type to phys_addr_t") changed type of ram_top member from ulong to phys_addr_t but did not changed types in board_get_usable_ram_top() function which returns value for ram_top. So change ulong to phys_addr_t type also in board_get_usable_ram_top() signature and implementations. 2021-02-02common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerSimon Glass
Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. 2020-07-17x86: Avoid #ifdef with CONFIG_HAVE_ACPI_RESUMESimon Glass
At present this enables a few arch-specific members of the global_data struct which are otherwise not part of the struct. As a result we have to use #ifdef in various places. The cost of always having these in the struct is small. Adjust things so that we can use compile-time code instead of #ifdefs. 2020-04-16x86: Move acpi_s3.h to include/acpi/Simon Glass
This header relates to ACPI and we are about to add some more ACPI headers. Move this one into a new directory so they are together. The header inclusion in pci_rom.c is not specific to x86 anymore, so drop the #ifdef CONFIG_X86. 2020-02-05dm: core: Create a new header file for 'compat' featuresSimon Glass
At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers. One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox which needs to use the system malloc() in some files. Move the compatibility features into a separate header file. 2019-12-15x86: fsp: Make graphics support common to FSP1/2Simon Glass

2019-12-15x86: Move fsp_prepare_mrc_cache() to fsp1 directorySimon Glass
This function needs to be different for FSP2, so move the existing function into the fsp1 directory. Since it is only called from one file, drop it from the header file. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]>
2019-12-15x86: Update mrccache to support multiple cachesSimon Glass
With Apollo Lake we need to support a normal cache, which almost never changes and a much smaller 'variable' cache which changes every time. Update the code to add a cache type, use an array for the caches and use a for loop to iterate over the caches. 2019-10-08x86: Rename existing FSP code to fsp1Simon Glass
Since there is now a new version of the FSP and it is incompatible with the existing version, move the code into an fsp1 directory. This will allow us to put FSP v2 code into an fsp2 directory. Add a Kconfig which defines which version is in use. Some of the code in this new fsp1/ directory is generic across both FSPv1 and FSPv2. Future patches will address this.
