When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay
Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and
so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master.
This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing
changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35.

The rest of the unmigrated CONFIG symbols in the CONFIG_SYS namespace do
not easily transition to Kconfig. In many cases they likely should come
from the device tree instead. Move these out of CONFIG namespace and in
to CFG namespace.

As this is only useful when booting with ATAGs, which are now largely
disabled, remove this value for the remaining platforms. We have a few
places in the code that had been testing for MACH_TYPE as a sort of
internal logic. Update those to use different but still correct CONFIG
symbols.

Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In
a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding
another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header
files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few
cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so
remove that include.

The spi0 alias is needed by the environment code to retrieve the SPI
flash. This patch adds some -u-boot.dtsi files, providing the spi0
aliases, for all the following Kirkwood-based LaCie boards:
- d2 Network v2
- Internet Space v2
- 2Big Network v2
- Network Space v2
- Network Space Lite v2
- Network Space Max v2
- Network Space Mini v2
Note that this -u-boot.dtsi files will be removed as soon as the spi0
aliases will be available in the upstream Linux dtsi files.

We should not use typedefs in U-Boot. They cannot be used as forward
declarations which means that header files must include the full header to
access them.
Drop the typedef and rename the struct to remove the _s suffix which is
now not useful.
This requires quite a few header-file additions.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

In order that we can use eth_env_* even when CONFIG_NET isn't set, move
these functions to environment code from net code.
This fixes failures such as:
board/ti/am335x/built-in.o: In function `board_late_init':
board/ti/am335x/board.c:752: undefined reference to `eth_env_set_enetaddr'
u-boot/board/ti/am335x/board.c:766: undefined reference to `eth_env_set_enetaddr'
which caters for use cases such as:
commit f411b5cca48f ("board: am335x: Always set eth/eth1addr environment
variable")
when Ethernet is required in Linux, but not U-Boot.

We are now using an env_ prefix for environment functions. Rename these
two functions for consistency. Also add function comments in common.h.
Quite a few places use getenv() in a condition context, provoking a
warning from checkpatch. These are fixed up in this patch also.

Upon further review when populating README.scrapyard, d2net_v2 is a
variant on net2big_v2 and not just an orphan config. To help in the
future also add this to board/LaCie/net2big_v2/MAINTAINERS which needed
a little consolidation anyhow.

Nowadays generic CFI code properly detects the ED Mini V2's
Macronix MC29LV400CB flash chip, therefore we can drop the
CONFIG_FLASH_CFI_LEGACY option and associated settings and code.

ED Mini V2 is based on Orion 5x which boots at fixed
address 0xFFFF0000 in NOR Flash. Place SPL there, and
switch U-Boot from .bin to .img format, stored in
NOR Flash at 0xFFF90000.
Note: this patch was tested on HW and works, i.e.
it boots U-Boot properly, but SPL console output
currently does not appear, due to GD being trashed
by arch/arm/lib/spl.c. This trashing is soon to be
removed, and then ED Mini V2 SPL console output will
become visible.

Additionally the SDRAM address decoding register address is not hard coded
in the C code any more. A define is introduced for this base address.
This makes is possible to use those gpio functions from other MVEBU SoC's
as well.

Since commit ddaf5c8f3030050fcd356a1e49e3ee8f8f52c6d4
(patman: RunPipe() should not pipe stdout/stderr unless asked),
Patman spits lots of "Invalid MAINTAINERS address: '-'"
error messages for patches with global changes.
It takes too long for Patman to process them.
Anyway, "M: -" does not carry any important information.
Rather, it is just like a place holder in case of assigning
a new board maintainer. Let's comment out.
This commit can be reproduced by the following command:

Now the types of CONFIG_SYS_{ARCH, CPU, SOC, VENDOR, BOARD, CONFIG_NAME}
are specified in arch/Kconfig.
We can delete the ones in arch and board Kconfig files.

Becuase the board select menu in arch/arm/Kconfig is too big,
move the Orion5x board select menu to orion5x/Kconfig.
Move also common settings (CONFIG_SYS_CPU="arm926ejs" and
CONFIG_SYS_SOC="orion5x").

We have switched to Kconfig and the boards.cfg file is going to
be removed. We have to retrieve the board status and maintainers
information from it.
The MAINTAINERS format as in Linux Kernel would be nice
because we can crib the scripts/get_maintainer.pl script.
After some discussion, we chose to put a MAINTAINERS file under each
board directory, not the top-level one because we want to collect
relevant information for a board into a single place.
TODO:
Modify get_maintainer.pl to scan multiple MAINTAINERS files.

provide a menu to select target boards
- board/${VENDOR}/${BOARD}/Kconfig or board/${BOARD}/Kconfig
set CONFIG macros to the appropriate values for each board
- configs/${TARGET_BOARD}_defconfig
default setting of each board
(This commit was automatically generated by a conversion script
based on boards.cfg)
In Linux Kernel, defconfig files are located under
arch/${ARCH}/configs/ directory.
It works in Linux Kernel since ARCH is always given from the
command line for cross compile.
But in U-Boot, ARCH is not given from the command line.
Which means we cannot know ARCH until the board configuration is done.
That is why all the "*_defconfig" files should be gathered into a
single directory ./configs/.

This patch allows to configure the net2big_v2 LEDs at startup (through
the GPIO extension bus). The front blue LED is enabled and the SATA rear
LEDs are configured to blink in relation with the SATA activity.

This patch adds support for the CPLD GPIO bus found on some LaCie boards
(as the 2Big/5Big Network v2 and the 2Big NAS). This parallel GPIO bus
exposes two registers (address and data). Each of this register is made
up of several dedicated GPIOs. An extra GPIO is used to notify the CPLD
that the registers have been updated.
Mostly this bus is used to configure the LEDs on LaCie boards.

This saves stack and code memory for local copy, and
consumes initialized data memory. For 22 of the 29
kirkwood-based boards, this results in a global saving
of about 30 bytes. For 7 of them, it results in an
increase of 6 to 14 bytes.

This patch adds support for the LaCie boards Network Space v2 (Lite and
Mini). This two boards are derived from the Network Space v2 and a lot
of hardware caracteristics are shared.
- CPU: Marvell 88F6192 800Mhz
- SDRAM memory: 128MB DDR2 200Mhz
- 1 SATA port: internal
- Gigabit ethernet: PHY Marvell 88E1318
- Flash memory: SPI NOR 512KB (Macronix MX25L4005A)
- i2c EEPROM: 512 bytes (24C04 type)
- 2 USB2 ports (Lite only): host and host/device
- 1 push button
- 1 SATA LED (bi-color, blue and red)

The command miiphy_read(name, 0xEE, 0xEE, (u16 *) &devadr) always
returns 8 for the PHY address. It is the reset value for the PHY
Address Register. Obviously, this default value could be incorrect.
Moreover, as the PHY address is well known, there is no need to
auto-detect it.
Now, the PHY address must given as a parameter to the PHY initialization
function. Additionally this patch also fixes some aesthetic issues.
