2025-10-28x86: Rename arch/x86/include/asm/pnp_def.h to include/pnp_def.hTom Rini
There is nothing x86-centric in this include file, and moving it will allow for some drivers to be compile-tested on sandbox. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2024-05-07board: intel: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from this board vendor directory and when needed add missing include files directly. Acked-by: Andy Shevchenko <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2024-02-27crownbay: Remove empty config headerTom Rini
Now that we support having CONFIG_SYS_CONFIG_NAME be unset to indicate a lack of board.h file, unset this on the crownbay platform and remove the otherwise empty file. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2023-08-09x86: crownbay: Convert to text environmentSimon Glass
Use the common include. Drop everything from the config.h file. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Andy Shevchenko <[email protected]> # Intel Edison Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]>
2022-10-31Rename CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE to CONFIG_TEXT_BASESimon Glass
The current name is inconsistent with SPL which uses CONFIG_SPL_TEXT_BASE and this makes it imposible to use CONFIG_VAL(). Rename it to resolve this problem. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2020-09-01x86: intel: crownbay: Remove dead codeAndy Shevchenko
start.S does nothing and can be safely removed. Makefile is still being used by the build system, so simply drop the rule from it. Signed-off-by: Andy Shevchenko <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]>
2020-05-18common: Drop init.h from common headerSimon Glass
Move this uncommon header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2017-08-01x86: kconfig: Let board select SPI flashBin Meng
Only a specific type of SPI flash exists on a board, having board Kconfig to select the SPI flash seems to make more sense. Other flash types are not necessary except coreboot, which implies all available flash drivers there. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2017-08-01x86: kconfig: Let board select BOARD_EARLY_INIT_FBin Meng
CONFIG_BOARD_EARLY_INIT_F literally indicates board-specific codes and should be not 'default y' for all x86 boards. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Andy Shevchenko <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2016-03-17x86: Drop all the old pin configuration codeSimon Glass
We don't need this anymore - we can use device tree and the new pinconfig driver instead. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]>
2015-09-09x86: crownbay: Convert to use CONFIG_DM_ETH for E1000Bin Meng
Since E1000 driver has been converted to driver model, enable it on Intel Crown Bay. But the Intel Topcliff GbE driver has not been converted to driver model yet, disable it for now. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]> Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <[email protected]>
2015-08-26x86: crownbay: Enable on-board SMSC superio keyboard controllerBin Meng
So far we only enabled one legacy serial port on the SMSC LPC47m superio chipset on Intel Crown Bay board. As the board also has dual PS/2 ports routed out, enable the keyboard controller which is i8042 compatible so that we can use PS/2 keyboard and mouse. In order to make PS/2 keyboard work with the VGA console, remove CONFIG_VGA_AS_SINGLE_DEVICE. To boot Linux kernel with PIC mode using PIRQ routing table, adjust the mask in the device tree to reserve irq12 which is used by PS/2 mouse. 2015-06-04x86: Remove DECLARE_GLOBAL_DATA_PTR in board filesBin Meng
gd is not referenced in those board files so DECLARE_GLOBAL_DATA_PTR should be removed. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]> Acked-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2015-04-29x86: Kconfig: Remove deprecated CONFIG_SYS_EXTRA_OPTIONSBin Meng
Currently all x86 boards still use CONFIG_SYS_EXTRA_OPTIONS to define the text base address. Since it is deprecated, just remove it and use CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE directly. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]> Acked-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2015-04-29x86: Set serial port IRQ for SMSC LPC47MBin Meng

2014-12-18x86: crownbay: Enable Intel E1000 NIC supportBin Meng
We don't have driver for the Intel Topcliff PCH Gigabit Ethernet controller for now, so enable the Intle E1000 NIC support, which can be plugged into any PCIe slot on the Crown Bay board. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]> Acked-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>

2014-12-18x86: ich6-gpio: Add Intel Tunnel Creek GPIO supportBin Meng
Intel Tunnel Creek GPIO register block is compatible with current ich6-gpio driver, except the offset and content of GPIO block base address register in the LPC PCI configuration space are different. Use u16 instead of u32 to store the 16-bit I/O address of the GPIO registers so that it could support both Ivybridge and Tunnel Creek. We may move that call to cpu_init_f() in the future. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]> Acked-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
