2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2024-05-07board: intel: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from this board vendor directory and when needed add missing include files directly. Acked-by: Andy Shevchenko <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2024-02-27galileo: Remove empty config headerTom Rini
Now that we support having CONFIG_SYS_CONFIG_NAME be unset to indicate a lack of board.h file, unset this on the galileo platform and remove the otherwise empty file. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>

2022-10-31Rename CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE to CONFIG_TEXT_BASESimon Glass
The current name is inconsistent with SPL which uses CONFIG_SPL_TEXT_BASE and this makes it imposible to use CONFIG_VAL(). Rename it to resolve this problem. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2022-03-08board: .gitignore: replace dsdt.c by dsdt_generated.cPhilippe Reynes
Since commit 5d94cbd1dca7 ("scripts: Makefile.lib: generate dsdt_generated.c instead of dsdt.c"), the file generated is named dsdt_generated.c instead of dsdt.c. So all files .gitignore referencing dsdt.c should be upated with dsdt_generated.c. Signed-off-by: Philippe Reynes <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Heinrich Schuchardt <[email protected]>
2022-02-25scripts: Makefile.lib: generate dsdt_generated.c instead of dsdt.cPhilippe Reynes
There is a conflict between the static file lib/acpi/dsdt.c and the file dsdt.c generated dynamicaly by scripts/Makefile.lib. When a mrproper is done, the static file dsdt.c is removed. If a build with acpi enabled is launched after, the following error is raised: CC lib/acpi/acpi_table.o make[2]: *** No rule to make target 'lib/acpi/dsdt.asl', needed by 'lib/acpi/dsdt.c'. Stop. scripts/Makefile.build:394: recipe for target 'lib/acpi' failed To avoid such error, the generated file is named dsdt_generated.c instead of dstdt.c. 2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename ofdata_to_platdata() to of_to_plat()Simon Glass
This name is far too long. Rename it to remove the 'data' bits. This makes it consistent with the platdata->plat rename. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>

2020-09-01x86: intel: galileo: Remove dead codeAndy Shevchenko
start.S does nothing and can be safely removed. Makefile is still being used by the build system, so simply drop the rule from it. Signed-off-by: Andy Shevchenko <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2017-08-01x86: kconfig: Let board select SPI flashBin Meng
Only a specific type of SPI flash exists on a board, having board Kconfig to select the SPI flash seems to make more sense. Other flash types are not necessary except coreboot, which implies all available flash drivers there. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
