I haven't been involved in U-Boot development for quite a while, so
CCing me on patches isn't currently useful. Add a .mailmap entry that I
believe will turn off patch CCs. This can always be removed if I become
active again! Remove myself from a few MAINTAINERS failed and the git
mailrc file too.

Since most boards now use the same generic device config header, move its
setup to SoC Kconfig instead of setting SYS_CONFIG_NAME in each board's
Kconfig.

Most device headers contain SoC specific part and common Tegra post part.
Add a generic header which can be used by any Tegra device of one of the
supported SoC generations (T20, T30, T114, T124 or T210) without need in
device specific configuration.

When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay
Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and
so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master.
This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing
changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

We have a large number of places where while we historically referenced
gd in the code we no longer do, as well as cases where the code added
that line "just in case" during development and never dropped it.

U-Boot widely uses error() as a bit noisier variant of printf().
This macro causes name conflict with the following line in
include/linux/compiler-gcc.h:
# define __compiletime_error(message) __attribute__((error(message)))
This prevents us from using __compiletime_error(), and makes it
difficult to fully sync BUILD_BUG macros with Linux. (Notice
Linux's BUILD_BUG_ON_MSG is implemented by using compiletime_assert().)
Let's convert error() into now treewide-available pr_err().
Done with the help of Coccinelle, excluing tools/ directory.
The semantic patch I used is as follows:

Convert this PMIC driver to driver model and fix up other users. The
regulator and GPIO functions are now handled by separate drivers.
Update nyan-big to work correct. Three boards will need to be updated by
the maintainers: apalis-tk1, cei-tk1-som. Also the TODO in the code re
as3722_sd_set_voltage() needs to be completed.

There are currently many places that define the list of all Tegra GPIOs;
the DT binding header and custom Tegra-specific header file gpio.h. Fix
the redundancy by replacing everything with the DT binding header file.

This imports v11 of "Jetson TK1 Development Platform Pin Mux" from
https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/downloads.
The new version defines the mux option for the MIPI pad ctrl selection.
The OWR pin no longer has an entry in the configuration table because
the only mux option it support is OWR, that feature isn't supported, and
hence can't conflict with any other pin. This pin can only usefully be
used as a GPIO.

The PMIC is configured such that its GPIOs have the correct configuration
at power-up, so no programming is required.
In fact, the current programming is actively wrong, since:
(a) the AS3722 driver configures the GPIO to be an output before setting
its output value, which causes a 0v glitch on the output.
(b) the AS3722 driver configures the GPIO to drive a high voltage from its
VSUP_GPIO power source rather than its VDD_GPIO_LV power source, so the pin
drives 5V not 1.8V as desired.
Solve these problems by removing the code which configures the PMIC GPIOs.
Note that this patch was tested directly on top of v2016.01; since then,
commit 96350f729c42 "dm: tegra: net: Convert tegra boards to driver model
for Ethernet" prevents PCIe from being initialized. Alternatively, simply
revert that commit to get PCIe Ethernet working again, then apply this
patch to test.

Enable the GPU node in the system-wide ft_system_setup() hook instead of
the board-specific ft_board_hook(). This allows us to enable GPU per SoC
generation instead of per-board as we did initially.

T124/210 requires some specific configuration (VPR setup) to
be performed by the bootloader before the GPU can be used.
For this reason, the GPU node in the device tree is disabled
by default. This patch enables the node if U-boot has performed
VPR configuration.
Boards enabled by this patch are T124's Jetson TK1 and Venice2
and T210's P2571.

Syseng has revamped the Jetson TK1 pinmux spreadsheet, basing the content
completely on correct configuration for the board/schematic, rather than
the previous version which was based on the bare minimum changes relative
to another reference board.
The new spreadsheet sets TRISTATE for any input-only pins. This only works
correctly if the global CLAMP bit is not set, so the Jetson TK1 board code
has been adjusted accordingly. Apparently syseng have changed their mind
since the previous advice that this needed to be set:-/

The Jetson TK1 has an ethernet NIC connected to the PCIe bus and routes
the second root port to a miniPCIe slot. Enable the PCIe controller and
the network driver to allow the device to boot over the network.

This pinmux tables currently omit any configuration for PCIe clk_req,
wake, and rst pins, which in turn causes intermittent failures in
U-Boot's PCIe support. Import an updated version of the pinmux tables
which rectifies this.

Now the types of CONFIG_SYS_{ARCH, CPU, SOC, VENDOR, BOARD, CONFIG_NAME}
are specified in arch/Kconfig.
We can delete the ones in arch and board Kconfig files.

Becuase the board select menu in arch/arm/Kconfig is too big,
move the Tegra board select menu to tegra/Kconfig.
Insert the Tegra SoC select menu between the arch select and the
board select.

We have switched to Kconfig and the boards.cfg file is going to
be removed. We have to retrieve the board status and maintainers
information from it.
The MAINTAINERS format as in Linux Kernel would be nice
because we can crib the scripts/get_maintainer.pl script.
After some discussion, we chose to put a MAINTAINERS file under each
board directory, not the top-level one because we want to collect
relevant information for a board into a single place.

Modify get_maintainer.pl to scan multiple MAINTAINERS files.

In Linux Kernel, defconfig files are located under
arch/${ARCH}/configs/ directory.
It works in Linux Kernel since ARCH is always given from the
command line for cross compile.
But in U-Boot, ARCH is not given from the command line.
Which means we cannot know ARCH until the board configuration is done.
That is why all the "*_defconfig" files should be gathered into a
single directory ./configs/.

The HW-defined procedure for booting Tegra requires that
CLAMP_INPUTS_WHEN_TRISTATED be enabled before programming the pinmux.
Modify the Jetson TK1 board to do this.

The HW-defined procedure for booting Tegra requires that some pins be
set up as GPIOs immediately at boot in order to avoid glitches on those
pins, when the pinmux is programmed. This patch implements this
procedure for Jetson TK1. For pins which are to be used as GPIOs, the
pinmux mux function need not be programmed, so the pinmux table is also
adjusted.
