The include file <command.h> does not need anything from <env.h>.
Furthermore, include/env.h itself includes other headers which can lead
to longer indirect inclusion paths. To prepare to remove <env.h> from
<command.h> fix all of the places which had relied on this indirect
inclusion to instead include <env.h> directly.

The DDR_SI_TEST config option is only relevant to the i.MX8 Capricorn
board.
Make DDR_SI_TEST depend on DDR_SI_TEST so that it does not show up
on other targets.

The signal integrity test generates pattern on DDR lines
for certification. The signals must be as fast as possible
and unidirectional.
The test is required from our HW team. The available
u-boot memory test doesn't full fill the our requirements.
The test is planed to be used in all new siemens boards.

Add the HW version read directly from EEPROM.
EEPROM chip data structure is now in a .h file common to draco
and capricorn.
Therefore move out the definitions in draco board to siemens
common place.

Adding the capricorn board family some parts diverge from draco family.
The switches used were not pertinent and need to be enhanced for each new
board of the capricorn family. Replace them through the SOC name 'AM33XX'
and 'IMX8'.

The common folder was initialially created for the common parts of the
products based on draco-am355x board family. These are the product lines
'pxm2', 'rut' and the base line named 'draco'!
Adding the new capricorn-imx8 board family, common was enhanced without
cleanup.
- rename 'common/board.c' to 'common/board_am335x.c'
- add 'common/board_am335x.h' for export to the product lines

NAND was used in the early development phase of etamin. The board runs now
on MMC. This setting is no more used -> remove to simplify the board file.
Further clean-up of etamin should remove all NAND settings. Complete clean-
up of etamin board will take place in a separate patch serie.

Since we have boards using the driver model or not for i2c, use abstraction
function to probe the i2c, check the EEPROM and read from EEPROM.

Enable this in the board Kconfig file, but then check for it via
CONFIG_IS_ENABLED so that it will only be true in the non-SPL case, as
is done today. As part of this we move some defines local to where
they are used as it's board specific.

The rest of the unmigrated CONFIG symbols in the CONFIG_SYS_SDRAM
namespace do not easily transition to Kconfig. In many cases they likely
should come from the device tree instead. Move these out of CONFIG
namespace and in to CFG namespace.

The instances of CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR on these platforms doesn't
match up with the rest of the EERPOM related defines in U-Boot. Move
these out of the CONFIG namespace rather than make complex Kconfig
logic.

It is a pain to have to specify the value 16 in each call. Add a new
hextoul() function and update the code to use it.
Add a proper comment to simple_strtoul() while we are here.

Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In
a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding
another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header
files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few
cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so
remove that include.

We should not use typedefs in U-Boot. They cannot be used as forward
declarations which means that header files must include the full header to
access them.
Drop the typedef and rename the struct to remove the _s suffix which is
now not useful.
This requires quite a few header-file additions.

At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This
requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers.
One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in
U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox
which needs to use the system malloc() in some files.
Move the compatibility features into a separate header file.

giedi and deneb are i.MX8X based and have additional data with
WLAN MAC in factoryset container. Enable building for these
boards and adapt factoryset functions to set WLAN MAC and dtb
name in environment.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

In order that we can use eth_env_* even when CONFIG_NET isn't set, move
these functions to environment code from net code.
This fixes failures such as:
board/ti/am335x/built-in.o: In function `board_late_init':
board/ti/am335x/board.c:752: undefined reference to `eth_env_set_enetaddr'
u-boot/board/ti/am335x/board.c:766: undefined reference to `eth_env_set_enetaddr'
which caters for use cases such as:
commit f411b5cca48f ("board: am335x: Always set eth/eth1addr environment
variable")
when Ethernet is required in Linux, but not U-Boot.

The g_dnl USB settings for the vendor ID, product ID and manufacturer are
actually common settings that can and should be shared by all the gadgets.
Make them common by renaming them, and convert all the users.

We are now using an env_ prefix for environment functions. Rename these
two functions for consistency. Also add function comments in common.h.
Quite a few places use getenv() in a condition context, provoking a
warning from checkpatch. These are fixed up in this patch also.

In the draco CPU board family, etamin is a new variant
with bigger flash and more RAM. Due to new flash that
uses larger pages (4K) some changes are necessary because
it impacts the MTD partition layout and the ubi mount
parameters.

This introduces a coherent scheme for naming USB download gadget and functions
config options. The download USB gadget config option is moved to
CONFIG_USB_GADGET_DOWNLOAD for better consistency with other gadgets and each
function's config option is moved to a CONFIG_USB_FUNCTION_ prefix.

a6b541b090: TI ARMv7: Don't use GD before crt0.S has set it
moves the init of the debug uart at the very end of SPL code.
Enable it for the siemens board earlier, as they print
ddr settings ... all debug output before board_init_r()
is here currently useless. Maybe we must rework this
globally?

add FIT support and set "boardid" from factoryset records
