2025-06-20env: Rename SYS_MMC_ENV_PART to ENV_MMC_EMMC_HW_PARTITIONMarek Vasut
Rename the variable and add ENV_ prefix, so that all configuration options which are related to environment would have an CONFIG_ENV_ prefix. No functional change. Use ENV_MMC_EMMC_HW_PARTITION to clarify this is the eMMC hardware partition selector, not a software partition table entry selector. Retain the ENV_MMC_ prefix to make it easier to search for all the SD/MMC related ENV options. Update the help text accordingly. Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <[email protected]>
2025-06-20env: Rename SYS_MMC_ENV_DEV to ENV_MMC_DEVICE_INDEXMarek Vasut
Rename the variable and add ENV_ prefix, so that all configuration options which are related to environment would have an CONFIG_ENV_ prefix. No functional change. Use ENV_MMC_DEVICE_INDEX to clarify this is the SD/MMC device index, a number, as enumerated by U-Boot. Update the help text accordingly. Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <[email protected]>
2025-06-20env: Rename SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR to ENV_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDRMarek Vasut

2024-04-04dts: meson-g12a: Switch to using upstream DTNeil Armstrong
Enable OF_UPSTREAM to use upstream DT and add amlogic/ prefix to the DEFAULT_DEVICE_TREE. And thereby directly build DTB from dts/upstream/src/ including *-u-boot.dtsi files from arch/$(ARCH)/dts/ directory. 2024-02-23configs: khadas-vim3*_android: fix AVB oom errorMattijs Korpershoek
When booting Android with AVB enabled, an OOM is observed: => avb init ${mmcdev} => avb verify _a ## Android Verified Boot 2.0 version 1.1.0 read_is_device_unlocked not supported yet read_rollback_index not supported yet avb_util.c:182: ERROR: Failed to allocate memory. OOM error occurred during verification A custom malloc length of 128MB is required as documented in commit 285a83b12bdf ("configs: meson64_android: increase SYS_MALLOC_LEN to 128M for AVB") However, this 128M custom malloc length was not ported to Kconfig in commit 7cfbba36e9f8 ("Convert CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN to Kconfig") Add it back to fix AVB verification on VIM3/VIM3L. 2023-10-26configs: khadas-vim3*_android: fix environment savingMattijs Korpershoek
The environment is used to configure some additional boot features such as: * extra boot arguments * enable AVB (Android Verified Boot) verification Right now, we cannot store it in eMMC: Loading Environment from nowhere... OK Fix it by enabling the appropriate options in the defconfig Fixes: b749d5ecdc06 ("configs: meson64_android: define raw parts for bootloader") Signed-off-by: Mattijs Korpershoek <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Neil Armstrong <[email protected]> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/[email protected] Signed-off-by: Neil Armstrong <[email protected]>

2023-01-17ARM: meson: g12a: switch dwc2 otg to DMMattijs Korpershoek
With CONFIG_DM_USB_GADGET=y, we no longer need any board_usb_*() logic because: * the dwc2 driver is DM compatible, and handles its own clock enabling * the dwc3-meson-g12a glue drivers handles "force mode switching" Remove all mach-meson/g12a usb code and enable CONFIG_DM_USB_GADGET. Note: Only configs having both CONFIG_USB_DWC3_MESON_G12A=y *and* USB_GADGET_DWC2_OTG=y have been updated. 2022-10-31Rename CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE to CONFIG_TEXT_BASESimon Glass
The current name is inconsistent with SPL which uses CONFIG_SPL_TEXT_BASE and this makes it imposible to use CONFIG_VAL(). Rename it to resolve this problem. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>

2022-06-06Migrate CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to Kconfig using system-constants.hTom Rini
- Make all users of CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR reference SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR - Introduce HAS_CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to allow for setting the stack pointer directly, otherwise we use the common calculation. - On some platforms that were using the standard calculation but did not set CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE / CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_ADDR, set them. - On a small number of platforms that were not subtracting GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE do so now via the standard calculation. - CONFIG_SYS_INIT_SP_OFFSET is now widely unused, so remove it from most board config header files. 2022-02-10nvme: Split out PCI supportMark Kettenis
Apple SoCs have an integrated NVMe controller that isn't connected over a PCIe bus. In preparation for adding support for this NVMe controller, split out the PCI support into its own file. This file is selected through a new CONFIG_NVME_PCI Kconfig option, so do a wholesale replacement of CONFIG_NVME with CONFIG_NVME_PCI. 2022-01-20configs: amlogic: Disable CONFIG_NET_RANDOM_ETHADDR for androidMattijs Korpershoek
The Khadas vim3 and vim3l defconfigs introduced with: * f89b90d2d9 ("configs: add khadas-vim3{l}_android for AOSP support") * 425f06f86e ("configs: prepare khadas-vim3{l}_ab_android for AOSP support") were based on an outdated defconfig prior to the ede1f4f297 ("configs: amlogic: Disable CONFIG_NET_RANDOM_ETHADDR when unnecessary") cleanup. Disable CONFIG_NET_RANDOM_ETHADDR for the android configs as well to stay consistent. 2022-01-07configs: add khadas-vim3{l}_android for AOSP supportMattijs Korpershoek
The Khadas VIM3 and VIM3L board are well supported in AOSP[1]. However, there is no mainline U-Boot support for it. The U-Boot used in AOSP is based on a vendor tree [2] Add all the necessary bits to flash and boot Android for both Khadas VIM3 and VIM3L boards.
