The current default boot command does not respect the Linux kernel 2 MiB
alignment requirement, present on aarch64 [1]:
"
The Image must be placed text_offset bytes from a 2MB aligned base
address anywhere in usable system RAM and called there.
"
Adjust the boot command such, that it always places both Image and DT at
the nearest highest 2 MiB aligned offset. The DT is placed at lower 2 MiB
aligned address, the aarch64 Image is placed at the next higher 2 MiB
aligned address. Is is unlikely that a DT would be larger than 2 MiB on
these systems.
Replace use of hard-coded load addresses with generic ${loadaddr} aligned
using setexpr. This way, if user picks valid ${loadaddr}, their kernel and
DT address will be correctly set as well.
Fix up boot commands to use && instead of ; to exit the boot command early
in case of failure.

Rename the variable and add ENV_ prefix, so that all configuration
options which are related to environment would have an CONFIG_ENV_
prefix. No functional change.
Use ENV_MMC_EMMC_HW_PARTITION to clarify this is the eMMC hardware
partition selector, not a software partition table entry selector.
Retain the ENV_MMC_ prefix to make it easier to search for all the
SD/MMC related ENV options. Update the help text accordingly.

At present there is a hex value SPL_STACK which both determines whether
SPL has its own initial stack and the hex value of that stack.
Split off the former into SPL_HAVE_INIT_STACK with SPL_STACK depending
on that and only providing the latter.

Deduplicate defconfigs for all Renesas R-Car Gen3 systems by factoring
out the common parts into generic renesas_rcar3.config and including
those using the #include <configs/...> preprocessor macro in the current
set of board specific defconfigs. The preprocessor macro is applicable
to defconfigs as well.
This introduces no functional change, the resulting .config is identical
for all Renesas R-Car Gen3 systems.

Enable OF_UPSTREAM to use upstream DT and add renesas/ prefix to the
DEFAULT_DEVICE_TREE and OF_LIST. And thereby directly build DTB from
dts/upstream/src/ including *-u-boot.dtsi files from arch/$(ARCH)/dts/
directory.
The configuration update has been done using the following script:
```
sed -i '/^CONFIG_DEFAULT_DEVICE_TREE/ s@="@&renesas/@' `git grep -li renesas configs`
sed -i '/^CONFIG_OF_LIST/ s@r8a@renesas/&@g' `git grep -li renesas configs`
```
There are SoCs which are not included in this patch. The 32bit SoCs
require further infrastructure work. R8A779H0 is coming during the
next upstream DT synchronization cycle as it is not included in
current upstream DTs yet.

The U-Boot build system can automatically paste -u-boot.dtsi at the
end of matching .dts during build. Stop emulating this behavior and
rename the -u-boot.dts files to -u-boot.dtsi, drop "#include...dts"
from those new u-boot.dtsi files, and update board configuration
accordingly.
The rename, '#include...dts` scrubbing and configuration update has
been done using the following script:
```
$ find . -name r[78]\*-u-boot.dts | sort -u | while read line ; do \
git mv ${line%-u-boot.dts}-u-boot.dts ${line%-u-boot.dts}-u-boot.dtsi ; \
done
$ sed -i '/^#include.*dts"/ d' `find . -name r[78]\*-u-boot.dtsi`
$ sed -i 's@-u-boot@@g' `git grep -li renesas configs`
```
The Salvator-X and ULCB board files have been updated manually.

Synchronize R-Car device trees with Linux 6.1.7,
commit 21e996306a6afaae88295858de0ffb8955173a15 .
The following script has been used for the synchronization:
$ for i in $(cd arch/arm/dts/ ; ls -1 r8a* | grep -v 'u-boot.dts' ; sed -n '/#include/ s@.*"\(.*\)"@\1@p' $(ls -1 r8a* | grep -v 'u-boot.dts')) ; do
if [ -e /linux-2.6/arch/arm64/boot/dts/renesas/$i ] ; then
cp /linux-2.6/arch/arm64/boot/dts/renesas/$i arch/arm/dts/ ;
elif [ -e /linux-2.6/arch/arm/boot/dts/$i ] ; then
cp /linux-2.6/arch/arm/boot/dts/$i arch/arm/dts/
else
echo "NOT FOUND: $i"
fi
done
$ git add $( ( cd arch/arm/dts/ ; ls -1 r8a* | grep -v 'u-boot.dts' ; sed -n '/#include/ s@.*"\(.*\)"@\1@p' $(ls -1 r8a* | grep -v 'u-boot.dts')) | tr " " "\n" | sed 's@^@arch/arm/dts/@g' )
Move the include/dt-bindings/{clk,clock}/versaclock.h header used by
the renesas boards to match Linux 6.1.y as well.
Keep arch/arm/dts/r8a774c0-u-boot.dtsi sdhi3 node as it is now used
by the arch/arm/dts/r8a774c0-cat874.dts board.
Pick s@spi-flash@flash@ change in arch/arm/dts/r8a779a0-falcon-u-boot.dts
from "ARM: dts: Synchronize R-Car V3U DTs with Linux 5.18.3" .

Since R-Car Gen3 already enables position independent build, also set
CONFIG_TEXT_BASE=0x0 to finalize the switch. This is possible since
534f0fbd65 ("arm64: Fix relocation of env_addr if POSITION_INDEPENDENT=y")
fixed current env_get_char() crash with CONFIG_TEXT_BASE=0x0 .
This change permits us to start U-Boot from any location in DRAM instead
of specific TEXT_BASE.

This converts the following to Kconfig:
CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN
To do this, we set a default of 0 for everyone because there are a
number of cases where we define CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN but the only
impact is that we set TOTAL_MALLOC_LEN to be CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN +
CONFIG_ENV_SIZE, so we must continue to allow all boards to set this
value. Update the SPL code to use 200 KB as the default raw U-Boot size
directly, if we don't have a real CONFIG_SYS_MONITOR_LEN value.
