2024-04-11arm: dts: k3: Remove unneeded ti, sci-sysreset binding and nodesAndrew Davis
This extra binding is non-standard and now unneeded as we bind the sysreset driver automatically. This matches what is done in Linux and allows us to more closely match the DTBs. Remove the binding and all users. Signed-off-by: Andrew Davis <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Neha Malcom Francis <[email protected]> Tested-by: Jonathan Humphreys <[email protected]>
2018-09-11sysreset: Add TI System Control Interface (TI SCI) sysreset driverAndreas Dannenberg
Devices from the TI K3 family of SoCs like the AM654x contain a Device Management and Security Controller (SYSFW) that manages the low-level device control (like clocks, resets etc) for the various hardware modules present on the SoC. These device control operations are provided to the host processor OS through a communication protocol called the TI System Control Interface (TI SCI) protocol. This patch adds a system reset driver that communicates to the system controller over the TI SCI protocol for allowing to perform a system- wide SoC reset.
