2024-12-06net: disable MBEDTLS in SPLHeinrich Schuchardt
Building SPL fails with MBEDTLS enabled. Currently we don't need it there. Signed-off-by: Heinrich Schuchardt <[email protected]> Acked-by: Jerome Forissier <[email protected]>
2024-10-23lib/sha*: include u-boot/schedule.h instead of cyclic.hRasmus Villemoes
These library routines obviously do not make use of the cyclic_register() etc. API, but do need to call schedule(). Include the proper header. Eventually, their ifdef logic should be updated to avoid talking about CONFIG_WATCHDOG. 2024-10-14sha1: Remove sha1 non-watchdog APIRaymond Mao
We don't need an API specially for non-watchdog since sha1_csum_wd supports it by disabling CONFIG_HW_WATCHDOG and CONFIG_WATCHDOG. Set 0x10000 as default chunk size for SHA1. Signed-off-by: Raymond Mao <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Ilias Apalodimas <[email protected]>
2023-12-21lib/sha*.c: Update header listTom Rini
Cleanup the list of headers we include here. For the tools build we only need to exclude <cyclic.h> as that's used by the target build for the prototype for schedule(), and we don't need to get that via <watchdog.h>. We can also make use of our <string.h> intentionally existing as a redirection to <linux/string.h> to reduce ifdef'd lines. 2022-09-18cyclic: Use schedule() instead of WATCHDOG_RESET()Stefan Roese
Globally replace all occurances of WATCHDOG_RESET() with schedule(), which handles the HW_WATCHDOG functionality and the cyclic infrastructure. Mark sha1_process as weak to allow hardware specific implementation. Add parameter to support for multiple blocks processing. Signed-off-by: Loic Poulain <[email protected]>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2016-11-21rsa: Verify RSA padding programaticallyAndrew Duda
Padding verification was done against static SHA/RSA pair arrays which take up a lot of static memory, are mostly 0xff, and cannot be reused for additional SHA/RSA pairings. The padding can be easily computed according to PKCS#1v2.1 as: EM = 0x00 || 0x01 || PS || 0x00 || T where PS is (emLen - tLen - 3) octets of 0xff and T is DER encoding of the hash. Store DER prefix in checksum_algo and create rsa_verify_padding function to handle verification of a message for any SHA/RSA pairing. 2016-01-19Add more SPDX-License-Identifier tagsTom Rini
In a number of places we had wordings of the GPL (or LGPL in a few cases) license text that were split in such a way that it wasn't caught previously. Convert all of these to the correct SPDX-License-Identifier tag. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>

2014-06-19includes: move openssl headers to include/u-bootJeroen Hofstee
commit 18b06652cd "tools: include u-boot version of sha256.h" unconditionally forced the sha256.h from u-boot to be used for tools instead of the host version. This is fragile though as it will also include the host version. Therefore move it to include/u-boot to join u-boot/md5.h etc which were renamed for the same reason. cc: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Jeroen Hofstee <[email protected]>
2012-12-11sha1: Use const where possible, and unsigned for input lenSimon Glass
In preparation for making the hash function common, we may as well use const where we can. Also the input length cannot be negative, but may be very large, so use unsigned. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
