2026-01-21board: phytec: Add PHYTEC mailing list to MAINTAINERS entriesWadim Egorov
PHYTEC maintains an actively monitored mailing list for upstream activities: [email protected]. Add it to the MAINTAINERS entries for PHYTEC boards we actively develop and contribute to. Signed-off-by: Wadim Egorov <[email protected]> Acked-by: Teresa Remmet <[email protected]>
2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2024-05-07board: phytec: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from this board vendor directory and when needed add missing include files directly. Acked-by: Wadim Egorov <[email protected]> Acked-by: Teresa Remmet <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2024-05-06global: Audit usage of <eeprom.h>Tom Rini
The file include/eeprom.h is used only in some legacy non-DM I2C EEPROM access cases. Remove most inclusions of this file as they are not needed. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2024-04-29phycore-rk3288: Migrate to OF_UPSTREAMWadim Egorov
The phycore-rk3288 can be migrated to OF_UPSTREAM. Drop redundant device tree files, update MAINTAINERS and defconfig's DEFAULT_DEVICE_TREE for rockchip vendor prefix accordingly. Move device tree nodes required for u-boot to rk3288-phycore-rdk-u-boot.dtsi such as chosen, i2c_eeprom_id and it's alias. Signed-off-by: Wadim Egorov <[email protected]>
2024-03-13boards: Remove empty BOARD_SPECIFIC_OPTIONSTom Rini
While there are currently uses for a stanza of "config BOARD_SPECIFIC_OPTIONS" followed by "def_bool y" and a series of select/imply statements, having this option set followed by nothing else doesn't provide anything. Remove these stanzas. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2022-10-19rockchip: phycore_rk3288: remove phycore_init() functionJohan Jonker
The phycore_rk3288 board has a SPL size problem, so remove phycore_init() function to stay within the limits. Signed-off-by: Johan Jonker <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Wadim Egorov <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Kever Yang <[email protected]>
2022-04-18board: rk3288: add more DT files to MAINTAINERSJohan Jonker
A number of rk3229/rk3288 DT files are synced from Linux. Add a maintainer to look after them and to help with review and testing. Signed-off-by: Johan Jonker <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Kever Yang <[email protected]>
2021-07-28Rename SPL_POWER_SUPPORT to SPL_POWERSimon Glass

2021-02-02common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerSimon Glass
Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. 2020-05-18common: Drop linux/bitops.h from common headerSimon Glass

2020-05-18common: Drop log.h from common headerSimon Glass

2020-05-18common: Drop net.h from common headerSimon Glass
Move this header out of the common header. Network support is used in quite a few places but it still does not warrant blanket inclusion. Note that this net.h header itself has quite a lot in it. It could be split into the driver-mode support, functions, structures, checksumming, etc. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2019-12-02common: Move old EEPROM functions into a new headerSimon Glass
These functions do not use driver model but are still used. Move them to a new eeprom.h header file. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>

2019-08-11env: Rename environment.h to env_internal.hSimon Glass
This file contains lots of internal details about the environment. Most code can include env.h instead, calling the functions there as needed. Rename this file and add a comment at the top to indicate its internal nature. 2019-07-29rockchip: rk3288: Move rk3288_detect_reset_reason to soc fileKever Yang
The rk3288_detect_reset_reason() is per-SoC operation, move it to rk3288.c, and extend the rk_board_late_init() with rk3288_board_late_init() to make all the board works fine as before. Signed-off-by: Kever Yang <[email protected]>

2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2018-04-08net: Move enetaddr env access code to env config instead of net configAlex Kiernan
In order that we can use eth_env_* even when CONFIG_NET isn't set, move these functions to environment code from net code. This fixes failures such as: board/ti/am335x/built-in.o: In function `board_late_init': board/ti/am335x/board.c:752: undefined reference to `eth_env_set_enetaddr' u-boot/board/ti/am335x/board.c:766: undefined reference to `eth_env_set_enetaddr' which caters for use cases such as: commit f411b5cca48f ("board: am335x: Always set eth/eth1addr environment variable") when Ethernet is required in Linux, but not U-Boot.
