Remove DECLARE_GLOBAL_DATA_PTR from files where gd is not used, and
drop the unnecessary inclusion of asm/global_data.h.
Headers should be included directly by the files that need them,
rather than indirectly via global_data.h.

In order to use SYS_64BIT_LBA with this driver we need for "start" to
also be of type lbaint_t and to then use the correct printf format
characters.

The existing API for these functions is different from the rest of
U-Boot, in that any error code must be obtained from the errno variable
on failure. This variable is part of the C library, so accessing it
outside of the special 'sandbox' shim-functions is not ideal.
Adjust the API to return an error code, to avoid this. Update existing
uses to check for any negative value, rather than just -1.

When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay
Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and
so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master.
This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing
changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35.

Update the sandbox implementation to use UCLASS_HOST and adjust all
the pieces to continue to work:
- Update the 'host' command to use the new API
- Replace various uses of UCLASS_ROOT with UCLASS_HOST
- Disable test_eficonfig since it doesn't work (this should have a unit
test to allow this to be debugged)
- Update the blk test to use the new API
- Drop the old header file
Unfortunately it does not seem to be possible to split this change up
further.

We currently have an if_type (interface type) and a uclass id. These are
closely related and we don't need to have both.
Drop the if_type values and use the uclass ones instead.
Maintain the existing, subtle, one-way conversion between UCLASS_USB and
UCLASS_MASS_STORAGE for now, and add a comment.

Some files cannot be written but read-only access is still useful for
tests. Add a fallback to read-only access when needed.
This is useful in CI when opening a large data file provided by docker,
where read/write access would result in copying the file, thus needing
a lot of extra disk space.

At present when a file is bound to a host device it is always marked as
removeable. Arguably the device is removeable, since it can be unbound at
will. However while it is bound, it is not considered removable by the
user. Also it is useful to be able to model both fixed and removeable
devices for code that distinguishes them.
Add a -r flag to the 'host bind' command and plumb it through to provide
this feature.

Each invocation of the 'host bind' command with a file name argument opens
a file descriptor. The next invocation of the 'host bind' command destroys
the block device but the file descriptor remains open. The same holds true
for the 'unbind blk' command.
Close the file descriptor when unbinding the host block device.

Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In
a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding
another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header
files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few
cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so
remove that include.

We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data.
We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private
or platform data).
Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency.

This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense
since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now
used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces
verbosity and makes it easier to read.
Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line,
thus making dtoc's job easier.

At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This
requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers.
One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in
U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox
which needs to use the system malloc() in some files.
Move the compatibility features into a separate header file.

part_init() is currently called in every DM BLK driver, either
in its bind() or probe() method. However we can use the BLK
uclass driver's post_probe() method to do it automatically.
Update all DM BLK drivers to adopt this change.

Currently the sandbox block driver uses priv_auto_alloc_size for
the driver data, however that's only available after the device
probe phase. In order to make it accessible in an earlier phase,
switch to use platdata_auto_alloc_size instead.
This patch is the prerequisite for the follow up patch of DM BLK
driver changes to work with Sandbox.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

There is an overflow problem when taking the size instead of the number
of blocks in blk_create_device(). This results in a wrong device size: the
device apparent size is its real size modulo 4GB.
Using the number of blocks instead of the device size fixes the problem and
is more coherent with the internals of the block layer.

This patch adds the flags parameter to device_remove() and changes all
calls to this function to provide the default value of DM_REMOVE_NORMAL
for "normal" device removal.
This is in preparation for the driver specific pre-OS (e.g. DMA
cancelling) remove support.

Now, arch/${ARCH}/include/asm/errno.h and include/linux/errno.h have
the same content. (both just wrap <asm-generic/errno.h>)

Bring this support back so that sandbox can be compiled with CONFIG_BLK. This
allows sandbox to have greater build coverage during the block-device
transition. This can be removed again later.

This will allow the implementation to make use of data in the block_dev
structure beyond the base device number. This will be useful so that eMMC
block devices can encompass the HW partition ID rather than treating this
out-of-band. Equally, the existence of the priv field is crying out for
this patch to exist.

Provide a way to use any host file or device as a block device in U-Boot.
This can be used to provide filesystem access within U-Boot to an ext2
image file on the host, for example.
The support is plumbed into the filesystem and partition interfaces.
We don't want to print a message in the driver every time we find a missing
device. Pass the information back to the caller where a message can be printed
if desired.
