2025-10-10Merge branch 'uboot-05102025' of ↵Tom Rini
https://source.denx.de/u-boot/custodians/u-boot-nand-flash This series adds significant and valuable work by Mikhail Kshevetskiy to align spi-mem with Linux 6.16. It also includes contributions to the mtd performance patches, a work started by Miquel Raynal and improved by Mikhail Kshevetskiy. Additionally, two patches tighten dependencies on the Atmel driver. The patches pass the pipeline CI: https://source.denx.de/u-boot/custodians/u-boot-nand-flash/-/pipelines/27873
2025-10-09nand: atmel: Rework ATMEL_EBI and DM_NAND_ATMEL interactionTom Rini
The way that the NAND driver under DM_NAND_ATMEL is probed is by the dummy memory driver controlled by ATMEL_EBI. Rather than require that for NAND to work both be enabled, make NAND select ATMEL_EBI and do not prompt for ATMEL_EBI as it only triggers the probe for NAND. https://source.denx.de/u-boot/custodians/u-boot-stm into next CI: - https://source.denx.de/u-boot/custodians/u-boot-stm/-/pipelines/27668 STM32MP2: - Add SPI flashes support - Add RIFSC system bus driver fixes
2025-09-18memory: Add STM32 Octo Memory Manager driverPatrice Chotard
Octo Memory Manager driver (OMM) manages: - the muxing between 2 OSPI busses and 2 output ports. There are 4 possible muxing configurations: - direct mode (no multiplexing): OSPI1 output is on port 1 and OSPI2 output is on port 2 - OSPI1 and OSPI2 are multiplexed over the same output port 1 - swapped mode (no multiplexing), OSPI1 output is on port 2, OSPI2 output is on port 1 - OSPI1 and OSPI2 are multiplexed over the same output port 2 - the split of the memory area shared between the 2 OSPI instances. - chip select selection override. - the time between 2 transactions in multiplexed mode. - check firewall access. 2024-10-29memory: ti-aemif: Add ARCH_DAVINCI to architectures that uses TI_AEMIFBastien Curutchet
TI_AEMIF configuration doesn't depend on ARCH_DAVINCI while the AEMIF controller is present in the DaVinci SoCs. Add ARCH_DAVINCI to the potential users of the TI_AEMIF driver Add <asm/io.h> to driver's includes to fix build issue on ARCH_DAVINCI Signed-off-by: Bastien Curutchet <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2023-10-30Kconfig: Remove all default n/no optionsMichal Simek
Similar change was done by commit b4c2c151b14b ("Kconfig: Remove all default n/no options") and again sync is required. default n/no doesn't need to be specified. It is default option anyway. 2022-12-08memory: atmel-ebi: add Atmel EBI (External Bus Interface) driverBalamanikandan Gunasundar
The EBI is used to access peripherals like NAND, SRAM, NOR etc. Add this driver to probe the nand flash controller. This is a dummy driver and not yet a complete device driver for EBI. Signed-off-by: Balamanikandan Gunasundar <[email protected]>
2022-10-26memory: Add TI GPMC driverRoger Quadros
The GPMC is a unified memory controller dedicated for interfacing with external memory devices like - Asynchronous SRAM-like memories and ASICs - Asynchronous, synchronous, and page mode burst NOR flash - NAND flash - Pseudo-SRAM devices This driver will take care of setting up the GPMC based on the settings specified in the Device tree and then probe its children.
