The definition of our ID table (and of_to_plat function) is guarded with
OF_REAL however the U_BOOT_DRIVER that would in turn use the table is
guarded with SERIAL_PRESENT. To avoid a potential warning we must also
guard both with SERIAL_PRESENT.

higher baudrates
Move to OMAP specific implementation of certain ops functions as the UART
prints on the serial console fail for baudrates greater than 460800.
The MDR1 register is responsible for determining the speed mode at which
the UART should operate for OMAP specific devices. The baud divisor is used
to set the UART_DLL register which is used for generation of the baud
clock in the baud rate generator. The implementation logic is similar to
how it is implemented in omap_8250_get_divisor function of 8250_omap UART
linux driver.

When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay
Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and
so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master.
This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing
changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35.

At this point, the remaining places where we have a symbol that is
defined as CONFIG_... are in fairly odd locations. While as much dead
code has been removed as possible, some of these locations are simply
less obvious at first. In other cases, this code is used, but was
defined in such a way as to have been missed by earlier checks. Perform
a rename of all such remaining symbols to be CFG_... rather than
CONFIG_...

The rest of the unmigrated CONFIG symbols in the CONFIG_SYS_NS16550
namespace do not easily transition to Kconfig. In many cases they likely
should come from the device tree instead. Move these out of CONFIG
namespace and in to CFG namespace.

CONFIG_VAL(DEBUG_UART_BASE) expands to CONFIG_DEBUG_UART_BASE or
CONFIG_SPL_DEBUG_UART_BASE or CONFIG_TPL_DEBUG_UART_BASE and allows boards
to set different values for SPL, TPL and U-Boot Proper.
For ns16550 driver this support is there since commit d293759d55cc
("serial: ns16550: Add support for SPL_DEBUG_UART_BASE").

Most drivers use these access methods but a few do not. Update them.
In some cases the access is not permitted, so mark those with a FIXME tag
for the maintainer to check.

We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data.
We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private
or platform data).
Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency.

This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense
since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now
used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces
verbosity and makes it easier to read.
Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line,
thus making dtoc's job easier.

At present devres.h is included in all files that include dm.h but few
make use of it. Also this pulls in linux/compat which adds several more
headers. Drop the automatic inclusion and require files to include devres
themselves. This provides a good indication of which files use devres.

This patch adds code missing when CONFIG_DEBUG_UART_OMAP is enabled as
early debugging UART. The code is basically copied from the ns16550
driver.

When a driver declares DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag, it wishes to be
bound before relocation. However due to a bug in the DM core,
the flag only takes effect when devices are statically declared
via U_BOOT_DEVICE(). This bug has been fixed recently by commit
"dm: core: Respect drivers with the DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag in
lists_bind_fdt()", but with the fix, it has a side effect that
all existing drivers that declared DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag will
be bound before relocation now. This may expose potential boot
failure on some boards due to insufficient memory during the
pre-relocation stage.
To mitigate this potential impact, the following changes are
implemented:
- Remove DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag in the driver, if the driver
only supports configuration from device tree (OF_CONTROL)
- Keep DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag in the driver only if the device
is statically declared via U_BOOT_DEVICE()
- Surround DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC flag with OF_CONTROL check, for
drivers that support both statically declared devices and
configuration from device tree

We have flipped CONFIG_SPL_DISABLE_OF_CONTROL. We have cleansing
devices, $(SPL_) and CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(), so we are ready to clear
away the ugly logic in include/fdtdec.h:

include/config_uncmd_spl.h and scripts/Makefile.spl.
