2025-12-30video: Tighten some video driver dependenciesTom Rini
A few video drivers cannot build without access to some platform specific header files. Express those requirements in Kconfig as well. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2025-05-01video: Enable VIDEO_DAMAGE for drivers that need itAlexander Graf
Some drivers call video_set_flush_dcache() to indicate that they want to have the dcache flushed for the frame buffer. These drivers benefit from our new video damage control, because we can reduce the amount of memory that gets flushed significantly. This patch enables video damage control for all device drivers that call video_set_flush_dcache() to make sure they benefit from it. 2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2021-02-03dm: Rename DM_FLAG_REMOVE_WITH_PD_ONSimon Glass
This flag has the word 'REMOVE' in it which means it conflicts with the DM_REMOVE flags. Rename it to DM_FLAG_LEAVE_PD_ON which seems to indicate its purpose well enough. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2021-02-02common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerSimon Glass
Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. 2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename 'platdata' variables to just 'plat'Simon Glass
We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data. We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private or platform data). Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename auto_alloc_size members to be shorterSimon Glass
This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces verbosity and makes it easier to read. Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line, thus making dtoc's job easier. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>

2020-05-17efi_loader: round the memory area in efi_add_memory_map()Michael Walle
Virtually all callers of this function do the rounding on their own. Some do it right, some don't. Instead of doing this in each caller, do the rounding in efi_add_memory_map(). Change the size parameter to bytes instead of pages and remove aligning and size calculation in all callers. There is no more need to make the original efi_add_memory_map() (which takes pages as size) available outside the module. Thus rename it to efi_add_memory_map_pg() and make it static to prevent further misuse outside the module. Signed-off-by: Michael Walle <[email protected]> Add missing comma in sunxi_display.c.
