2017-01-31mmc: move CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC to KconfigMasahiro Yamada
Now, CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC seems equivalent to CONFIG_MMC. Let's create an entry for "config GENERIC_MMC" with "default MMC", then convert all macro defines in headers to Kconfig. Almost all of the defines will go away. I see only two exceptions: configs/blanche_defconfig configs/sandbox_noblk_defconfig They define CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC, but not CONFIG_MMC. Something might be wrong with these two boards, so should be checked later. Anyway, this is the output of the moveconfig tool. This commit was created as follows: [1] create a config entry in drivers/mmc/Kconfig [2] tools/moveconfig.py -r HEAD GENERIC_MMC [3] manual clean-up of garbage comments in doc/README.* and include/configs/*.h Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>

2016-12-29mmc: complete unfinished move of CONFIG_MMCMasahiro Yamada
Commit 7a777f6d6f35 ("mmc: Add generic Kconfig option") created a Kconfig entry for this option without any actual moves, then commit 44c798799f66 ("sunxi: Use Kconfig CONFIG_MMC") moved instances only for SUNXI. We generally do not like such partial moves. This kind of work is automated by tools/moveconfig.py, so it is pretty easy to complete this move. I am adding "default ARM || PPC || SANDBOX" (suggested by Tom). This shortens the configs and will ease new board porting. This commit was created as follows: [1] Edit Kconfig (remove the "depends on", add the "default", copy the prompt and help message from Linux) [2] Run 'tools/moveconfig.py -y -s -r HEAD MMC' Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Jaehoon Chung <[email protected]>

USB-related options are usually prefixed with CONFIG_USB and platform-specific adaptation for the MUSB controller already have a CONFIG_USB_MUSB prefix, so this switches all MUSB-related options to a CONFIG_USB_MUSB prefix, for consistency. Signed-off-by: Paul Kocialkowski <[email protected]>
2015-06-25Move default y configs out of arch/board KconfigJoe Hershberger
Some archs/boards specify their own default by pre-defining the config which causes the Kconfig system to mix up the order of the configs in the defconfigs... This will cause merge pain if allowed to proliferate. Remove the configs that behave this way from the archs. A few configs still remain, but that is because they only exist as defaults and do not have a proper Kconfig entry. 2014-09-24kconfig: move CONFIG_CC_OPTIMIZE_LIBS_FOR_SPEED to KconfigMasahiro Yamada

2014-03-07kbuild, blackfin: Add CONFIG_CC_OPTIMIZE_LIBS_FOR_SPEEDMasahiro Yamada
Many (but not all) of Blackfin boards give -O2 option to compile under lib/ directory. That means lib/ should be speed-optimized, whereas other parts should be size-optimized. We want to keep the same behavior, but do not want to parse board/*/config.mk again and again. We've got no choice but to invent a new method. CONFIG_CC_OPTIMIZE_LIBS_FOR_SPEED, if it is enabled, gives -O2 flag only for building under lib/ directory. Dirty codes which I had marked as "FIX ME" in board/${BOARD}/config.mk have been deleted. Instead, CONFIG_CC_OPTIMIZE_LIBS_FOR_SPEED has been defined in include/configs/${BOARD}.h. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <[email protected]> Cc: Sonic Zhang <[email protected]>
2013-05-13bfin: Move gpio support for bf54x and bf60x into the generic driver folder.Sonic Zhang
The gpio spec for bf54x and bf60x differ a lot from the old gpio driver for bf5xx. A lot of machine macros are used to accomodate both code in one gpio driver. This patch split the old gpio driver and move new gpio2 support to the generic gpio driver folder. - To enable gpio2 driver, macro CONFIG_ADI_GPIO2 should be defined in the board's config header file. - The gpio2 driver supports bf54x, bf60x and future ADI processors, while the older gpio driver supports bf50x, bf51x, bf52x, bf53x and bf561. - All blackfin specific gpio function names are replaced by the generic gpio APIs. 2009-06-14Blackfin: convert specific pre/post config headers to common methodMike Frysinger
