- Make all users of CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR reference SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR - Introduce HAS_CUSTOM_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR to allow for setting the stack pointer directly, otherwise we use the common calculation. - On some platforms that were using the standard calculation but did not set CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE / CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_ADDR, set them. - On a small number of platforms that were not subtracting GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE do so now via the standard calculation. - CONFIG_SYS_INIT_SP_OFFSET is now widely unused, so remove it from most board config header files. 2021-12-27Finish conversion of CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to KconfigTom Rini
In order to finish moving this symbol to Kconfig for all platforms, we need to do a few more things. First, for all platforms that define this to a function, introduce CONFIG_DYNAMIC_SYS_CLK_FREQ, similar to CONFIG_DYNAMIC_DDR_CLK_FREQ and populate clock_legacy.h. This entails also switching all users from CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to get_board_sys_clk() and updating a few preprocessor tests. With that done, all platforms that define a value here can be converted to Kconfig, and a fall-back of zero is sufficiently safe to use (and what is used today in cases where code may or may not have this available). It is quite confusing that CONFIG_SYS_I2C selects the legacy I2C and CONFIG_DM_I2C selects the current I2C. The deadline to migrate I2C is less than a year away. Also we want to have a CONFIG_I2C for U-Boot proper just like we have CONFIG_SPL_I2C for SPL, so we can simplify the Makefile rules. Rename this symbol so it is clear it is going away. When using bootefi to boot a EFI binary, u-boot is supposed to provide networking service for EFI application. Currently, 'pfe stop' command is called from bootcmd before running bootefi. As a result network stops working for EFI applications and console is flooded with "Rx pkt not on expected port" messages. Implement board_quiesce_devices() for ls1012a boards and call pfe_command_stop() from it instead of calling 'pfe stop' from *_bootcmd and bootcmd. 2020-07-27configs: ls1012a: Increase CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN valueKuldeep Singh
Previous attempt to increase CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN was done in commit c084a8edf4e2 ("configs: ls1012a: Increase CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN size") which increased malloc memory to ~1M. PFE firmware alone requires 3M of dynamic memory allocation and therefore, increase the config value to a larger value i.e 5M. 2019-05-26configs: Migrate CONFIG_FMAN_ENET and some related options to KconfigTom Rini
Move the main symbol for Freescale Fman Ethernet controller option to Kconfig. Also migrate the CONFIG_SYS_QE_FMAN_FW_IN_xxx macros and rename the SPIFLASH one to follow the same format as all of the others. To do this fully we need to migrate CONFIG_QC, do so. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents.
