To implement the EFI_SYSTEM_TABLE_POINTER we need 4 MiB aligned
memory.
On the sandbox LMB uses addresses relative to the start of a page aligned
RAM buffer allocated with mmap(). This leads to a mismatch of alignment
between EFI which uses pointers and LMB which uses phys_addr_t.
Ensure that the RAM buffer used for LMB is 4 MiB aligned.

The existing memory layout places the bloblist at 0xb000 and the fdt at
0x100, resulting in a 0xaf00 size constraint for the fdt. This constraint
has been reached. Lets modify the layout by moving the bloblist to 0x100,
device tree to 0x1000 and placing early memory allocation after pre-console
buffer at 0xf4000. This should guarantee sufficient memory allocation for
future expansion.

Add a test for the NOR load method. Since NOR is memory-mapped we can
substitute a buffer instead. The only major complication is testing LZMA
decompression. It's too complex to implement LZMA compression in a test, and we
have no in-tree compressor, so we just include some pre-compressed data. This
data was generated through something like
generate_data(plain, plain_size, "lzma")
cat plain.dat | lzma | hexdump -C
and was cleaned up further in my editor.

Given that we can use Kconfig logic directly to see if we have a program
available on the host or not, change from passing NO_SDL to instead
controlling CONFIG_SANDBOX_SDL in Kconfig directly. Introduce
CONFIG_HOST_HAS_SDL as the way to test for sdl2-config and default
CONFIG_SANDBOX_SDL on if we have that, or not.

not easily transition to Kconfig. In many cases they likely should come
from the device tree instead. Move these out of CONFIG namespace and in
to CFG namespace.

issues), we cannot safely hide options under CONFIG_SPL_BUILD. Largely

Add a structure which defines the information that is needed for
executing capsule updates on a platform. Some information in the
structure like the dfu string is used for making the update process
more robust while some information like the per platform image GUIDs
is used for fixing issues. Initialise this structure in the board
file, and use the information for the capsule updates.

This is defined based on two other CONFIGs for all boards except sandbox
and durian.
For sandbox the value does not matter. For durian the value seems
excessive.
Drop the option completely, to simplify configuration and reduce the
number of things we need to convert to Kconfig.

This is not used by sandbox since it uses driver model for the timer.
Drop it.
Also update the tools_only build to avoid build errors, since it does
actually build U-Boot too. Enable DM so we can use CONFIG_TIMER,
disable EFI_LOADER to avoid an error about board_quiesce_devices() and
disable NET to avoid having to define CONFIG_AVB_BUF_ADDR

This is a complicated set of #defines and it is painful to convert to a
text file. We can (once pending patches are applied) provide the same
functionality with bootmethod. Drop this for sandbox to allow conversion
to a text-file environment.

The DSA sandbox driver is used for unit testing the DSA class code.
It implements a simple 2 port switch plus 1 CPU port, and uses a
very simple tag to identify the ports.
The DSA sandbox device is connected via CPU port to a regular Ethernet
sandbox device, called 'dsa-test-eth, managed by the existing eth
sandbox driver. The 'dsa-test-eth' is not intended for testing the
eth class code however, but it is used to emulate traffic through the
'lan0' and 'lan1' front pannel switch ports. To achieve this the dsa
sandbox driver registers a tx handler for the 'dsa-test-eth' device.
The switch ports, labeled as 'lan0' and 'lan1', are also registered
as eth devices by the dsa class code this time. So pinging through
these switch ports is as easy as:
=> setenv ethact lan0
=> ping 1.2.3.5
Unit tests for the dsa class code were also added. The 'dsa_probe'
test exercises most API functions from dsa.h. The 'dsa' unit test
simply exercises ARP/ICMP traffic through the two switch ports,
including tag injection and extraction, with the help of the dsa
sandbox driver.
I took care to minimize the impact on the existing eth unit tests,
though some adjustments needed to be made with the addition of
extra eth interfaces used by the dsa unit tests. The additional eth
interfaces also require MAC addresses, these have been added to the
sandbox default environment.

Up to now the RAM size of the sandbox is hard coded as 128 MiB. This does
not allow testing the correct handling of addresses outside the 32bit
range. 128 MiB is also rather small when tracing functions where the trace
is written to RAM.
Provide configuration variable CONFIG_SANDBOX_RAM_SIZE_MB to set the RAM
size in MiB. It defaults to 128 MiB with a minimum of 64 MiB.

If there are aliases for an uclass, set the base for the "dynamically"
allocated numbers next to the highest alias.
Please note, that this might lead to holes in the sequences, depending
on the device tree. For example if there is only an alias "ethernet1",
the next device seq number would be 2.
In particular this fixes a problem with boards which are using ethernet
aliases but also might have network add-in cards like the E1000. If the
board is started with the add-in card and depending on the order of the
drivers, the E1000 might occupy the first ethernet device and mess up
all the hardware addresses, because the devices are now shifted by one.
Also adapt the test cases to the new handling and add test cases
checking the holes in the seq numbers.

- In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of
CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so.
- On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define
to 0.
- Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR.
- Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it.
- Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and
SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT
- On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR
for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location.
- On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but
rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default.
- Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use
CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within
ENV_IS_IN_FLASH.
- Migrate all platforms.

Enable this by default so that tracing can be inspected if enabled. This
cannot rely on the 'imply' in lib/Kconfig since this method of enabling
tracing relates on an environment variable (FTRACE) and does not use
Kconfig.

We have the following cases:
- CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was defined, migrate normally
- CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS_MAX was defined and then used for
CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS after a check, just migrate it over now.
- CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was very oddly defined on p2771-0000-* (to 1024 +
2), set this to 8.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.
