As the help message of CONFIG_BOOTDELAY says, CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2
means the autoboot with no delay, with no abort check even if
CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK is defined.
To sum up, the autoboot behaves as follows:
[1] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0 && CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK=y
autoboot with no delay, but you can abort it by key input
[2] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0 && CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK=n
autoboot with no delay, with no check for abort
[3] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-1
disable autoboot
[4] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2
autoboot with no delay, with no check for abort
As you notice, [2] and [4] come to the same result, which means we
do not need CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK. We can control all the
cases only by CONFIG_BOOTDELAY, like this:
[1] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0
autoboot with no delay, but you can abort it by key input
[2] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-1
disable autoboot
[3] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2
autoboot with no delay, with no check for abort
This commit converts the logic as follow:
CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0 && CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK=n
--> CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2

This syncs up the current cmd/Kconfig and include/configs/ files with the
only exception being CMD_NAND. Due to how we have used this historically
we need to take further care here when converting.

We have finished Generic Board conversion for ARM and PowerPC, i.e.
all the boards have been converted except OpenRISC, SuperH, SPARC,
which have not supported Generic Board framework yet.
Select SYS_GENERIC_BOARD in arch/Kconfig and delete all the macro
defines in include/configs/*.h.

Add option to set shell prompt string from menuconfig and migrate
boards globally.
The migration is done as follows:
- Boards that explicitly and unconditionally set CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT had the
entry moved to their defconfig files.
- Boards that defined some kind of #ifdef logic which selects the
CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT (for example qemu-mips) got an #undef CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT
right before the #ifdef logic and were left alone.
- This change forces CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT to be a per board decision, and thus
CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT was removed from all <soc>_common.h and <arch>_common.h
files. This results in a streamlined default value across platforms, and
includes the following files: spear-common, sunxi-common, mv-common,
ti_armv7_common, tegra-common, at91-sama5_common, and zynq-common.
- Boards that relied on <arch/soc>_common.h values of CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT were
not updated in their respective defconfig files under the assumption that
since they did not explicitly define a value, they're fine with whatever
the default is.
- On the other hand, boards that relied on a value defined in some
<boards>_common.h file such as woodburn_common, rpi-common,
bur_am335x_common, ls2085a_common, siemens_am33x_common, and
omap3_evm_common, had their values moved to the respective defconfig files.
- The define V_PROMPT was removed, since it is not used anywhere except for
assigning a value for CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT.

CONFIG_CPU_ARM920T was introduced into Kconfig by commit 2e07c249a67e
(kconfig: arm: introduce symbol for ARM CPUs).
This commit removes all the defines of CONFIG_ARM920T and replaces the
only reference in drivers/usb/host/ohci-hcd.c with CONFIG_CPU_ARM920T.

The last users of CONFIG_KGDB_SER_INDEX were removed more than 3 years
ago in commits 550650ddd0 and bf16500f79, either kgdb subsystem should
care about this parameter or it should be gone completely.

CONFIG_STACKSIZE is not referenced anywhere except on AVR32, but present
in most ARM board config files.
IRQs are only enabled for 1 config, so remove the unused config options
for IRQ and FIQ stack size as well.

Exactly one board has defined CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT_HUSH_PS2 to a value
different than "> " which is vision2. I have Cc'd the maintainer here
as I strongly suspect this is a bug rather than intentional behavior.

We provide a default table of { 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 }
in <config_fallbacks.h> which mkconfig places after <configs/...h> in
the generated config file. This is used when a board has not set its
own table.

CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not
being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files.
Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not
reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into
GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the
asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be
deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all
files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file.
No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar
changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro
definitions as well.

This patch adds a unified s3c24x0 cpu header file that selects the header
file for the specific s3c24x0 cpu from the SOC and CPU configs defined in
board config file. This removes the current chain of s3c24-type #ifdef's
from the s3c24x0 code.

This sets CONFIG_SYS_HZ to 1000 for all boards that use the s3c2400 and
s3c2410 cpu's which fixes various problems such as the timeouts in tftp being
too short.
Tested on an Embest SBC2440-II Board with local u-boot patches as I don't
have any s3c2400 or s3c2410 boards but need this patch applying before I can
submit patches for the SBC2440-II Board. Also, ran MAKEALL for all ARM9 targets
and no new warnings or errors were found.
It was originally submitted on 21/06/2009 but didn't get into the 2009.08
release, and Jean-Pierre made one comment on the original patch (see
http://lists.denx.de/pipermail/u-boot/2009-July/055470.html). I've made two
changes to the original patch:
- it's been re-based to the current release
- I've re-named get_timer_raw() to get_ticks() in response to Jean-Pierre's comment
This affects the sbc2410, smdk2400, smdk2410 and trab boards. I've copied it
directly to the maintainers of all except the sbc2410 which doesn't have an
entry in MAINTAINERS.

This commit gets rid of a huge amount of silly white-space issues.
Especially, all sequences of SPACEs followed by TAB characters get
removed (unless they appear in print statements).
Also remove all embedded "vim:" and "vi:" statements which hide
indentation problems.
