2022-07-18sunxi: configs: streamline include/configs/sun*.h wrappersAndre Przywara
For mostly historic reasons we had configuration headers for each Allwinner CPU "family". These days they are mostly just including one common header, with the rest being somewhat empty. There were attempts to remove them, and to just use the one common header to begin with, but this has implications to the build system, which me might not be ready for, yet. To document this behaviour, and to avoid something sneaking in over time, make those files all the same (minus the CPU family name and the copyrights), and add a comment explaining that. This makes it easier to just remove those files later on, when needed and possible. Signed-off-by: Andre Przywara <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2021-01-25sunxi: Introduce common symbol for H6 like SoCsJernej Skrabec
It turns out that there are at least 2 other SoCs which have basically the same memory map, similar clocks and other features as H6. It's very likely that we'll see more such SoCs in the future. In order to ease porting to new SoCs and lower ifdef clutter, introduce common symbol for them. 2019-01-18sunxi: usb: Switch to Generic host controllersJagan Teki
Onc of key blocker for using USB Generic host controller drivers in Allwinner are CLK and RESET drivers, now these available for USB usage. So switch sunxi USB use EHCI and OHCI Generic controllers. Enabling USB is wisely a board choise, So Enable USB_OHCI_HCD where it already have USB_EHCI_HCD Signed-off-by: Jagan Teki <[email protected]> Acked-by: Maxime Ripard <[email protected]>

2018-07-31sunxi: change GIC address on H6Icenowy Zheng
As the Allwinner H6 chip has a new memory map, its GIC MMIO address is thus different. Change the address on H6. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2017-05-15Kconfig: USB: Migrate CONFIG_USB_EHCI to CONFIG_USB_EHCI_HCDTom Rini
In order to be able to migrate the various SoC EHCI CONFIG options we first need to finish the switch from CONFIG_USB_EHCI to CONFIG_USB_EHCI_HCD. Cc: Marek Vasut <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Marek Vasut <[email protected]>
2017-04-05ARM: rename CONFIG_TIMER_CLK_FREQ to COUNTER_FREQUENCYAndre Przywara
Many ARMv8 boards define a constant COUNTER_FREQUENCY to specify the frequency of the ARM Generic Timer (aka. arch timer). ARMv7 boards traditionally used CONFIG_TIMER_CLK_FREQ for the same purpose. It seems useful to unify them. Since there are less occurences of the latter version, lets convert all users over to COUNTER_FREQUENCY. 2016-10-30sunxi: A64: enable USB supportAmit Singh Tomar
Mostly by adding MACH_SUN50I to some existing #ifdefs enable support for the the HCI0 USB host controller on the A64. Fix up some minor 64-bit hiccups on the way. Add the bare minimum DT bits to the A64 .dtsi and enable the controllers and the PHY on the Pine64. This is limited to the first USB controller at the moment, which is connected to the lower USB socket on the Pine64 board. 2016-04-01sunxi: Add support for Allwinner A64 SoCsSiarhei Siamashka
The Allwinner A64 SoC is used in the Pine64. This patch adds all bits necessary to compile U-Boot for it running in AArch64 mode. Unfortunately SPL is not ready yet due to legal problems, so we need to boot using the binary boot0 for now.
