2025-08-23mtd: nand: Do not dereference before NULL checkAndrew Goodbody
In nanddev_init mtd and memorg are assigned values that dereference nand but this happens before a NULL check for nand. Move the assignments after the NULL check. This issue was found by Smatch. Signed-off-by: Andrew Goodbody <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Michael Trimarchi <[email protected]>
2024-05-20Restore patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"Tom Rini
As part of bringing the master branch back in to next, we need to allow for all of these changes to exist here. Reported-by: Jonas Karlman <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2024-05-19Revert "Merge patch series "arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet""Tom Rini
When bringing in the series 'arm: dts: am62-beagleplay: Fix Beagleplay Ethernet"' I failed to notice that b4 noticed it was based on next and so took that as the base commit and merged that part of next to master. This reverts commit c8ffd1356d42223cbb8c86280a083cc3c93e6426, reversing changes made to 2ee6f3a5f7550de3599faef9704e166e5dcace35. 2024-05-07mtd: Remove <common.h> and add needed includesTom Rini
Remove <common.h> from this driver directory and when needed add missing include files directly. Reviewed-by: William Zhang <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <[email protected]>
2023-09-24common: Drop linux/printk.h from common headerSimon Glass
This old patch was marked as deferred. Bring it back to life, to continue towards the removal of common.h Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2022-12-10mtd: nand: drop EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL for nanddev_erase()Dario Binacchi
This function is only used within this module, so it is no longer necessary to use EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL(). This patch parallels the work done in the following patch: https://lore.kernel.org/linux-mtd/[email protected] Signed-off-by: Dario Binacchi <[email protected]> Reviewed-By: Michael Trimarchi <[email protected]> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/all/[email protected]
2022-09-18cyclic: Use schedule() instead of WATCHDOG_RESET()Stefan Roese
Globally replace all occurances of WATCHDOG_RESET() with schedule(), which handles the HW_WATCHDOG functionality and the cyclic infrastructure. 2021-03-11mtd: nand: Add WATCHDOG_RESET() in nanddev_mtd_erase()Patrice Chotard
In case of big area erased on nand, watchdog timeout may occurs. To fix that, add WATCHDOG_RESET() in nanddev_mtd_erase() to ensure that watchdog is reset. Signed-off-by: Patrice Chotard <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Patrick Delaunay <[email protected]>
2020-12-18mtd: spinand: enable erasing of bad mtd blocksMikhail Kshevetskiy
U-Boot is able to erase bad mtd blocks on raw nand devices, but this is not true for spinand flashes. Lets enable this feature for spinand flashes as well. This is extemelly useful for flash testing. Signed-off-by: Mikhail Kshevetskiy <[email protected]>

Move this uncommon header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
2020-02-05dm: core: Create a new header file for 'compat' featuresSimon Glass
At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers. One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox which needs to use the system malloc() in some files. Move the compatibility features into a separate header file. 2019-12-04mtd: nand: add includes in NAND core to avoid warningsMiquel Raynal
Because of the include's game, when some files are compiled for a SPI NAND device, no warning appears. But when it is for a raw NAND device, GCC complains. Fix these warning by including <common.h>. Signed-off-by: Miquel Raynal <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Boris Brezillon <[email protected]>
